Presto Music, which started business as Clarke Brass and Woodwind Repair, was founded in Adelaide after owner Simon Clarke returned from studying Band Instrument Repair in the United States in 1991. Initially focusing only on instrument repair, Simon became very busy working on all types of brass and woodwind instruments.

Fiona became an integral part taking care of bookeeping and now arranging freight and being the Print Music Manager.
The shop eventually turned its focus to high quality instrument sales thus enhancing the requirement for high quality repairs.
