This optional metal thumb hook and thumb rest set provide an excellent response with a wider dynamic range in addition to a smooth tone and stable sound. Individually the thumb hook impacts the high and mid range of the saxophone. The thumb rest impacts the lower range. The pieces are available as a set and can be installed on most Yamaha saxophones from soprano to baritone.
